This trip is designed to include both people who do mountain skiing as well as their companions or friends who do not ski, but wish to enjoy a week in Lofoten with different activities that we will propose every day. For the latter, we incorporate a mountain guide that will take the "non-skiers" to know some corners of the archipelago, whether making excursions with snowshoes, cross-country skiing, boat trips to get to know the coast, fishing, initiation to surf with monitor, fishing villages and Viking museum.
The group of skiers will leave independently of the other group, each morning to look for the best snow and mountain ski routes that best suit the conditions of the moment and the preferences of the participants according to the criteria of the guide. Always in small groups of one guide for every 6 customers maximum to achieve greater dynamism in each day.
For the outdoor activity that you plan to be successful it is very important that it accommodates to your level, both physical and technical. Here we present some guidelines so that you can get an idea of what your level is according to the programs we propose. The Lofoten archipelago is located on the parallel 68o north latitude, within the Arctic Circle. Its natural richness, rugged mountains and endless options for skiers have made Lofoten a must-see destination for every mountain skier.
But it is also a valuable destination for any outdoor lover wanting to explore its landscapes, its fishing villages combining coastal tourism and excursions with rackets, surfing, boating, northern lights watching, fishing, etc. For all this, in this program we include a guide who will accompany part of the group to discover all the possibilities of the archipelago while the other part of the group practices mountain skiing.
We will stay in a house located on a quiet icy lake and very close to most routes, although we will need to travel about an hour's drive to access some excursions.
The house has a large living room, terrace, kitchen with table for breakfast and meals that the same group will prepare each day, five double bedrooms and an additional living room with floor-to-ceiling windows on the top floor. Recently built, it is ideal to share this activity, or just to enjoy its tranquility and mountain views.
