Carros de Foc is a round tour through the National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. Within its territory there are several huts of increasing importance on the preservation of the Park. They make possible this wonderful program and will give us very good shelter during the different stages of the itinerary.
The National Park considered as a high mountain park, one of the oldest on the Iberian Peninsula, stands out for its spectacular nature and great beauty given the different vegetation and landscapes that we find. The glacial lakes, big mountains, high summits, beautiful valleys, forests and granite needles will transform the sunrises and sunsets in something that will stay in our memories forever. We will get to visit the four regions within the park: Alta Ribagorza, Val d’Aran, Pallars Sobirá and Pallars Jussá, each one of them with splendid views, highlighting the San Nicolas river Valley, where the name of Aigüestortes comes from and the Escrita river Valley with famous lake Sant Maurici.
